Pacific Center proudly offers several different peer support groups for you to connect with other like-minded lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people. You can find support, friendship, a place to talk, and connections to other LGBT resources through our active peer groups program.

With over 200 people attending our diverse groups each week, we can help you find a community to last a lifetime.

Pacific Center is a dynamic, lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community (LGBT) organization based in Berkeley, CA. We have been meeting the needs of our LGBT community for 35 years.

For 35 years, Pacific Center has proudly offered lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender knowledgeable and sensitive counseling services for our community.

As one of two organizations in the Bay Area dedicated to meeting the mental health needs of our LGBT community, Pacific Center offers affordable, dependable, and effective counseling when you need a listening ear and caring support.

REACHING OUT Counseling Request Pacific Center is accepting new clients for our mental health counseling program. Please call our Counseling Request Line at (510) 548-8283 ext. 250 to request counseling. Therapy Groups EQuIP’D -- Emerging Queer Identified People with Disabilities The Pacific Center is offering a six week therapy group for queer identified people with physical disabilities. All ages and sexual preferences are welcome. Topics addressed in the group will include coming out/being out, building community, working with prejudice, marginalization, sex, self, relationships, and identity. Interested participants must call to sign up in advance of the first session, 510-548-8283 ext. 510. This group is co-facilitated by Heidi Denkers, MFT Trainee (supervised by Deena Solwren, LCSW, License#: LCS19582), and Maddy Brener, PsyD Trainee (supervised by Shawn Giammattei, PsyD, License#: PSY22570).

VOLUNTEER! Volunteering at the Center is one of the best ways to meet people and support our community! Each week, over 200 people walk in or call us to find information, services, and support. Currently we are in need of Front Desk Receptionists to greet visitors and help our callers when they visit the Center! We have several spots open. Please contact us today!
