Grief Group

Following the Ghost Ship tragedy in December 2016 Pacific Center coordinated with Alameda County to provide

counselors to family and friends of the victims.  Providing a grief therapy group is a continuation of our dedication to providing needed support services to our community.

Grief Group is a support group for anyone dealing with loss due to death of a loved one.

The grief group is offered at no charge and is facilitated by a licensed therapist and a Pacific Center clinician.

This group runs for the duration of 8 weeks with a break of approximately 4 weeks in between groups.  Folx must complete an intake and commit to weekly attendance.

Please contact Laine Demetria, LMFT at 510.703.4766 or for more information.  The next group starts Sept. 14 and runs through Nov. 2, 2020 and meets online every Monday from 4:00-5:30 PM.
