The California Poppies are out in profusion across the Bay Area, and I find the burst of nearly day-glo orange to be a welcome sight against the recent gray. Pacific Center Golden Dreams 50th Anniversary Gala This month, we're thrilled to share with you that tickets for Pacific Center's Golden Dreams Gala and after-party are now available! 🎉 This year's momentous event in celebration of 50 years of Pacific Center services promises to be an unforgettable evening of entertainment, celebration, and community on June 3, 2023. The event features Sister Tilda NexTime as MC, the Oakland Gay Men’s Chorus and So Lauren as musical entertainment, and much more! Don’t wait: buy your ticket now! By attending, you'll be supporting our mission to provide essential mental health services and support services to the LGBTQIA+ community in the Bay Area. Purchase the VIP add-on if you want to attend the private, VIP only, pre-gala mixer that evening, get access to the swanky VIP seating area (which includes bottle service), and get a super sweet gift bag! Also, do you want to be a team captain? Team Captain status means you’re committing to purchasing–or selling–a packet of four VIP tickets, totaling $1260. Bring your party out for a night they’re sure to remember! Drop a note to our event coordinator, Sharon Knight, for more information, and to hear about your special VIP perks. And, there are only six VIP sets of four tickets available, so contact Sharon ASAP! (FYI: The gala is being held in an outdoor space, in order to be as covid safe as possible.) Tickets for the Golden Dreams Gala are available at the rate of $250 - $215 each, depending on the number of tickets purchased. For the lower price, bring your friends! VIP add-on is +$100. And remember; every dollar over event cost goes toward delivery of Pacific Center’s life-saving services to our community. Our after-party is being hosted in partnership with the ever fabulous and quickly growing Que Rico Night Club. This part of the event will include a stage show on their amazing outdoor stage, and the opportunity to dance into the wee hours. This is our first partnership with Que Rico and we want to give a shout out to Valentino and his ever-supportive and helpful crew. Thanks, Que Rico, for your partnership! Tickets for the after-party are available on a sliding scale of $25 - $50. (After-party attendance is included in gala ticket sales and sponsorships.) We're seeking a skilled and experienced project manager to facilitate and oversee the move, which will take place in July/August of 2023.
